Every Door You Pass Through…

Can be a living work of art. It is in the sign of welcome. It is in the sign of hospitality. It is that first impression.

Well, this topic is going to be explored and explained further on Green Apples, but this is a sneak peek what is to come in a little garden town I have the pleasure to be working with on a Garden Walk this summer.  So let’s look at the character of the town by the doors that welcome.

The wreaths…

The colors…

The white picket fences…

The landscaping…

The ornaments…

The Red Doors…

The Porches…

The businesses…

Join me as we tour Lewiston, New York, home of the most popular garden fest in Niagara County, the Lewiston GardenFest. I will be taking you to see this wonderful place for the next couple of weeks. From a plant sale, to planting of the park, to the gardens and businesses. Follow on Garden Walk Garden Talk and here on Green Apples. So much to see in a place of so much history and filled with character.

  1. Very interesting, and wonderful photography. Thank you for the virtual tour, I love learning about different places, and am looking forward to your future posts about this lovely town. It was a treat to walk the streets and look at it today.

  2. I didn’t realise until today that Niagara is situated in New York, looks like an interesting place. Up till now, when you referred to Niagara and New York, I thought you were living a double life!

  3. Hi Donna, Congratulations! Your caption has been selected and is posted with a link to your site today.

Come over for some laughs. 🙂
